At Agape Homecare, we don’t just “visit” people — we walk alongside them. We’re a family-run domiciliary care provider, rated GOOD by the CQC, and proudly the only home care company in Shropshire accredited with the Gold Standard Framework for End of Life Care. That means we’re trusted to deliver care at the most complex, sensitive, and important times in a person’s life.
We’re now recruiting full-time Health Care Assistants who are ready to support people with complex health needs in their own homes — and who want the training, confidence, and support to do it properly.
The Working Pattern (Clear and Honest):
This is a 40-hour-per-week role and includes:
Two early starts each week
Two late finishes each week
Every other weekend
Antisocial hours — because care doesn’t clock off
The Care You’ll Be Providing:
Alongside personal care and daily living support, you’ll be involved in complex and specialist care, including:
Supporting individuals with PEG feeding
Tracheostomy care
Complex neurological and long-term conditions
Palliative and end-of-life care
Mental health and dementia support
You’ll also play a vital role in bridging the gap between home, hospital, and hospice, helping ensure care is joined-up, safe, and centred around the person — not the system.
Training That Actually Means Something:
We don’t throw you in and hope for the best.
Monthly in-house training, delivered by an experienced clinical trainer
Training is personalised to our service users, not generic tick-box sessions
Hands-on training in:
PEG care
Tracheostomy care
Complex medical conditions
End of life and symptom management
Full support to complete the Care Certificate, NVQs, and specialist clinical competencies
No experience? No problem. We build your confidence step by step

Compassionate, patient, and reliable
Comfortable supporting people with complex health needs
Open to learning and developing specialist clinical skills
