We are seeking a dedicated and personable Shop Assistant to join our team. This role involves providing excellent customer service, supporting daily shop operations, and ensuring a welcoming environment for all visitors. The ideal candidate will be organised, proactive, and possess strong communication skills to assist customers effectively and contribute to the smooth running of the shop. All positions are paid, including internships, offering valuable experience in a professional retail setting.
Responsibilities
- Greeting customers warmly and assisting them with their enquiries
- Operating the till system to process sales accurately and efficiently
- Managing stock levels, replenishing shelves, and organising displays
- Providing information about products and services to customers
- Maintaining cleanliness and organisation within the shop environment
- Supporting team members with various duties as required to ensure excellent customer experience
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable manner
- Organised with the ability to multitask in a busy environment
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when needed
