Dental Receptionist/Nurse plays a key role in managing the patient journey, driving patient treatment plans and educating patients to promote treatment value. Training will be provided as well as regular continuous professional development opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Welcome patients in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring a positive experience from arrival.
- Manage appointment bookings, cancellations and recalls using the practice management system.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with GDPR and confidentiality requirements.
- Answer telephone calls, respond to patient enquiries and liaise with clinicians where appropriate.
- Process patient payments, prepare estimates and assist with billing queries.
- Support the clinical team by assisting with patient flow and providing chairside nursing cover when required.
- Prepare and maintain treatment rooms, ensuring surgeries are clean, stocked and compliant with infection prevention and control standards.
- Work collaboratively with the wider practice team to deliver excellent patient care and ensure the smooth running of the practice.

Experience in dentistry is preferable but not essential
Hours: Three days a week 8am - 5pm.
Job Type: Part Time
Salary: starting from minimum wage per hour dependent on experience
Pay: £1,300.00-£1,500.00 per month
