Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaning Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across various commercial premises. Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces in commercial settings
- Maintain cleanliness of washrooms, kitchens, and communal areas to high standards
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet roll as needed
- Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed within scheduled timeframes
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times to ensure a safe working environment
Requirements
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is preferred but not essential; training will be provided
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Good physical stamina to perform cleaning duties throughout the shift
- Reliable with a professional attitude towards work responsibilities
- Flexibility to work during scheduled hours, which may include early mornings, evenings, or weekends depending on the assignment
