Due to continued success and expansion we are now looking to add Assembly Operatives to our team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling components and products in a factory environment, utilising both hand and power tools. A strong mechanical knowledge would be beneficial for this role, as you will be required to understand assembly processes and troubleshoot any issues that may arise during production.
Responsibilities
- Assemble various components and products according to specifications and quality standards.
- Utilise hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete assembly tasks.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, ensuring all tools and materials are stored properly.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
- Conduct quality checks on assembled products to ensure they meet company standards.
- Report any defects or issues to the supervisor promptly for resolution.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while working in the factory environment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in assembly or a similar role within a warehouse setting is preferred.
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools with a strong emphasis on safety.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills, with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
