We’re seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Laboratory Support Technician to work with high-purity and air sensitive chemicals. You will play a key role in the safe, precise and efficient preparation of specialist, high-integrity chemical containers used throughout our operations.
Your responsibilities
- Clean, prepare and inspect specialist chemical containers, ensuring they meet rigorous integrity and contamination-free standards.
- Use established laboratory procedures to identify leaks, defects or evidence of contamination.
- Keep accurate and legible records of completed work, including inspection findings and batch documentation.
- Complete training that will enable you to support the handling and transfer of hazardous products.
- Follow all safety protocols, PPE requirements and air sensitive-material handling procedures while working in the chemical laboratory.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying concerns, reporting deviations and helping to refine processes.
What you’ll bring
- Experience in a laboratory, chemical, manufacturing or other controlled environment is highly desirable.
- A sound understanding of chemistry gained through education or relevant workplace experience.
- Excellent attention to detail and a systematic approach to your work.
- The ability to follow written procedures precisely and produce high-quality documentation.
- Strong organisational skills and the confidence to manage your own workload.
- A commitment to safe working practices and a collaborative, positive attitude.
