Sutton Park Motor Company Ltd is seeking an ambitious, experienced, and driven Aftersales Manager to lead our successful Renault & Dacia Aftersales team in Stourbridge.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated automotive professional with a proven track record in Aftersales leadership, customer service excellence, and departmental performance management. Reporting directly to our Group Service and Parts Managers, you will be responsible for leading a busy and professional Aftersales Department, ensuring outstanding customer satisfaction while driving profitability and operational efficiency.
The Role
As Aftersales Manager, you will lead by example, inspiring and developing your team of Aftersales Advisors and Technicians to achieve exceptional results. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Workshop and Aftersales operation, ensuring maximum productivity, high levels of customer satisfaction, and achievement of departmental targets and KPIs.
This role requires a hands-on leader who can motivate a team, manage performance, and deliver a first-class customer experience at every stage of the customer journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Maximise customer satisfaction by delivering an exceptional customer experience.
- Manage the daily operation of the Workshop and Service Reception.
- Drive workshop productivity and technician efficiency.
- Support Aftersales Advisors in achieving upselling and customer retention targets.
- Monitor departmental performance against budgets and KPIs, implementing improvement plans where required.
- Ensure compliance with manufacturer standards and company processes.
- Develop and maintain a positive, high-performing team culture.
- Identify training and development opportunities for team members.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience as an Aftersales Manager, Service Manager, or similar leadership role within the automotive industry.
- A proven track record of delivering strong Aftersales performance and customer satisfaction results.
- Excellent leadership, coaching, and people management skills.
- Experience managing budgets and KPIs.
- A customer-focused approach with a passion for delivering service excellence.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced dealership environment.
- A full UK driving licence.
