Overview
We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our workshop team. Working in a clean & modern workshop. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating and welding steel components with precision and efficiency, contributing to the production of high-quality products. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong mechanical aptitude and experience in various welding and fabrication techniques. Duties
- Perform MIG & ARC & TIG welding
- Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment to cut, shape, and assemble metal parts
- Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate fabrication
- Assist in the assembly of fabricated components into finished products or structures
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to health and safety regulations
- Conduct quality checks on completed work to meet company standards
- Collaborate with team members to optimise production processes and resolve technical issues
Experience
- Proven experience with MIG welding, with a strong understanding of welding standards.
- Previous experience with Stairs and Handrail is essential.
- Previous experience working with welding in industrial or manufacturing settings is essential
- Ability to read technical drawings and interpret specifications accurately
- Full UK Driving Licence
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £16.00-£18.00 per hour
