Overview
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Operations supervisor to oversee and optimise the daily functions of our warehouse. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing warehouse activities, ensuring efficient logistics, and driving continuous process improvements. This role offers an exciting opportunity within a fast-paced e-commerce environment, ensuring seamless order processing and delivery. The ideal applicant will possess strong supervisory skills, extensive warehouse experience, and a comprehensive understanding of supply chain management systems.
Duties
- Ensure smooth operations in shipping, receiving, inventory management, and order fulfilment.
- Manage online storefronts including Ebay, and Amazon inventory listing and marketing.
- Manage warehouse workflows using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP systems to optimise productivity and accuracy.
- Monitor stock levels, perform regular audits, and coordinate with suppliers and 3PL providers to maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Implement process improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing operational efficiency, reducing costs, and increasing customer satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, and warehouse equipment.
- Oversee shipping & receiving procedures, ensuring timely dispatches and deliveries in line with customer expectations and marketplace SLA’s.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support supply chain optimisation and continuous improvement strategies.
- Maintain detailed records of warehouse activities, including profit & loss analysis related to operational costs.
- Keep a clean, tidy and ordered warehouse. With the ability to help with general maintenance when needed.
Skills
- Experience within a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Amazon and ebay system familiarities preferred, including listing optimisation and keyword analysis.
- Strong understanding of profit & loss management related to warehouse operations.
- Extensive knowledge of supply chain processes and logistics.
- Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ERP systems platforms.
- Skilled in shipping & receiving procedures, inventory control, and warehouse safety protocols.
- Excellent communication skills on the phone and via email.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively within a fast-paced environment.
