R&D Decorating South West Limited is looking for a reliable and hardworking Skilled Labourer to join our expanding building team, supporting a range of domestic, commercial and refurbishment projects across the South West.
About Us
R&D Decorating South West Limited is an established contractor delivering high-quality decorating, refurbishment and building works throughout the South West.
As our general building division continues to grow, we are looking for experienced site operatives who can work alongside our tradespeople and supervisors to help keep projects running efficiently and to a high standard.
The Role
As a Skilled Labourer, your duties will include a varied range of site work, including:
Assisting carpenters, plasterers, decorators, tilers and other trades
General building and refurbishment works
Basic demolition and strip-out works
Moving, loading and organising materials
Site preparation and protection
Basic making good and repair works
Using hand and power tools
Keeping work areas clean, safe and organised
Supporting deliveries and site logistics
Carrying out general maintenance and snagging works
Working independently on suitable tasks when required
Experience carrying out basic carpentry, decorating, plastering, tiling or other building tasks would be an advantage.
What We’re Looking For
Previous experience working on construction or refurbishment projects
Good practical building knowledge and ability
Confident using basic hand and power tools
Strong work ethic and willingness to get involved
Good attention to detail
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Reliable, punctual and professional
Good understanding of site health and safety
Valid driving licence preferred
CSCS card preferred
