Office Administrator
Location: Daedalus Park, Lee-on-the-Solent
Hours: Full-time (Monday to Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm)
At Fun & Active, we design and supply high-quality playground markings and outdoor play equipment that help schools create engaging, active learning environments across the UK.
As our business continues to grow, we're looking for a friendly, organised and proactive Office Administrator to become an integral part of our team. This is a varied role where no two days are the same, and you'll play a key part in keeping the business running smoothly behind the scenes.

This is a full-time office-based role, typically Monday to Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm, we would be open to a 4 day week for the right applicant. The Role
As our Office Administrator, you'll be the heartbeat of our day-to-day operations, working closely alongside our Office Manager, Sales Team and wider business to ensure everything runs smoothly.
You'll be someone who enjoys variety and thrives in a fast-paced environment. One moment you could be speaking to a customer on the telephone, the next scheduling installation teams, preparing quotations, assisting with designs, supporting the sales team or helping keep our systems and administration organised.
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys being the person that keeps everything moving.
Key ResponsibilitiesOffice Administration
- Answer incoming telephone calls professionally and assist customers with enquiries.
- Schedule installation teams and organise daily workloads.
- Support the sales team with appointments, meetings and customer communications.
- Prepare letters, reports and business documents.
- Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence and general office administration.
- Maintain accurate filing systems and company records.
- Order office supplies and ensure the office operates efficiently.
Sales & Operational Support
- Assist with preparing quotations and supporting the design process.
- Coordinate diaries, appointments and meetings for the sales team.
- Support the planning and scheduling of projects and installations.
- Update customer information and job progress within our CRM.
- Assist different departments across the business whenever additional support is needed.
- Help ensure projects move efficiently from enquiry through to completion.
Systems & Finance Support
- Maintain accurate records using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, HubSpot and Monday.com.
- Raise purchase orders and assist with general purchasing administration.
- Support the finance team with day-to-day administration using Xero.
- Assist with reporting and ensure company systems remain accurate and up to date.
- Help identify opportunities to improve office processes and efficiency.
About You
We're looking for someone who:
- Has previous experience in an office administration role.
- Is exceptionally organised with outstanding attention to detail.
- Is confident communicating with customers over the telephone.
- Can confidently manage multiple tasks and prioritise their workload.
- Works well under pressure while maintaining a positive, professional attitude.
- Has strong Microsoft Office skills.
- Experience with HubSpot, Monday.com, Google Workspace and Xero would be an advantage, although full training can be provided.
- Is proactive, reliable and enjoys helping others.
- Takes ownership of their work and is always looking for ways to improve how things are done.
- Enjoys being part of a supportive team and is happy to roll their sleeves up whenever needed.
