Relax for the Body and Soul has been helping clients reduce pain, improve mobility and improve wellbeing for over 14 years. We are looking for a skilled and compassionate self-employed massage therapist to join our growing team.
This role is ideal for a therapist who enjoys helping clients manage pain, muscular tension, injury recovery and stress while delivering exceptional customer care. The successful candidate will provide high-quality massage treatments, support reception duties and help maintain the professional standards our clients expect.
Available Working Hours
Monday: 14:15 – 20:00
Thursday: 14:00 – 20:00
Friday: 09:00 – 16:30
Weekend Hours (Flexible):
Availability on Saturday and/or Sunday is preferred. Therapists can choose their own working hours between 09:00 and 20:00.
Responsibilities
- Deliver a range of massage treatments within your qualifications
- Assess client needs and tailor treatments accordingly
- Help clients manage pain, improve mobility and support overall well-being
- Provide exceptional customer service before, during and after treatments
- Support reception duties, including answering calls, responding to enquiries and assisting clients
- Assist with laundry and towel preparation
- Maintain clean, organised and professional treatment rooms
- Complete consultation forms and treatment notes accurately
- Build and maintain a strong client base through excellent service and professionalism
Requirements
- Qualification in Massage Therapy
- Minimum 1 year of massage experience preferred
- Strong understanding of anatomy and therapeutic massage techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Strong organisational and administrative skills
- Professional, reliable and client-focused attitude
- Familiarity with booking software is beneficial (training provided)

- Typical earnings:
- 30-minute treatment: £19.08+
- 40-minute treatment: £25.44+
- 60-minute treatment: £29.68–£31.80+
- 90-minute treatment: £40.28–£42.40+

Please note: This is a self-employed commission-based position. Earnings depend on the number and type of treatments performed. The advertised hourly rate represents typical equivalent earnings based on our current treatment prices and commission structure.
