We are seeking a responsible, style-savvy, and customer-focused Key Holder to join our menswear retail team at Designer Warehouse that is located at Springfields Shopping Centre, Spalding. The Key Holder plays a crucial leadership role in the daily operations of the store, supporting management in driving sales, delivering exceptional customer service, and ensuring store security and opening/closing procedures are executed efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Store Operations
- Open and close the store in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Ensure the store is clean, organized, and visually appealing, reflecting current brand standards.
- Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management, restocking, and merchandising.
- Customer Experience
- Deliver outstanding customer service through product knowledge, styling assistance, and a friendly demeanor.
- Maintain a strong knowledge of current menswear trends and promote key items and seasonal collections.
- Resolve customer issues or escalate concerns to management as needed.
- Team Support
- Assist in leading and motivating sales associates to achieve daily sales goals.
- Act as the supervisor on duty when management is not present.
- Provide guidance and training to new team members when necessary.
- Sales & Performance
- Support in achieving and exceeding sales targets through effective customer engagement and upselling techniques.
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently using the POS system.
- Assist with daily reporting and cash handling.
Qualifications:
- 1+ year of retail experience, preferably in fashion or menswear.
- Previous key holder or supervisory experience is a plus.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent customer service and sales abilities.
- Dependable, punctual, and capable of working flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Passion for menswear, fashion, and styling.
