Burton Latimer Band Club & Institute is seeking an enthusiastic, reliable, and experienced Bar Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our busy members' club bar.

£28,600 PA (increasing to £29,640 PA after Probation period)
About the Role
As Bar Manager, you will be responsible for the efficient operation of the bar, ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and compliance, and creating a welcoming environment for members and guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the daily running of the bar.
- Lead, supervise, and support bar staff.
- Deliver excellent customer service at all times.
- Manage stock ordering, deliveries, and stock control.
- Ensure compliance with licensing laws and health and safety regulations.
- Handle cashing up and maintain accurate financial records.
- Organise staff rotas and ensure adequate cover for events.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming bar environment.
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience managing a licensed bar or hospitality venue.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Good organisational and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of licensing regulations and responsible alcohol service.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
Desirable
- Personal Licence Holder (or willingness to obtain one).
- Experience managing stock and budgets.
- Experience working in a members' club or community venue.
