CNC Laser Setter/Operator
Alifab (Welding & Fabrication) Ltd is looking for an experienced CNC Laser Setter/Operator to join our team in Stoke-on-Trent.
We need someone with genuine sheet-laser experience who can operate independently, work accurately from engineering drawings and take ownership of the laser and surrounding area.
The role involves:
- Setting and operating CNC sheet-laser machinery
- Selecting the correct programs and materials
- Checking finished components against drawings
- Completing daily machine checks and cleaning
- Keeping sheet stock and remnants organised
Previous experience operating a CNC sheet laser independently is essential.
Experience with Bystronic machinery, Radan programming or nesting would be useful but isn’t required. Training will be provided on our specific machinery, software and processes.
We’re looking for someone reliable, organised and able to keep the machine productive without constant supervision.
Pay is £14.00–£17.00 per hour depending on experience and capability.
Full-time, permanent position with a 37-hour working week, overtime opportunities and free on-site parking.
