Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified Gas Safe Registered Engineer to join our team in <LOCATION>. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing gas systems in both residential settings. Responsibilities
- Conduct installation, servicing, and repair of gas appliances and systems in accordance with current regulations and safety standards.
- Perform routine inspections and safety checks on gas installations.
- Diagnose faults using various hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment.
- Carry out plumbing tasks related to gas systems, including pipework modifications or replacements.
- Operate commercial driving vehicles when necessary for transporting equipment or materials.
- Undertake heavy lifting of equipment or materials safely and efficiently.
- Maintain detailed records of work carried out, including compliance documentation.
- Ensure all work is completed within designated timeframes while adhering to health and safety regulations.
Requirements
- Valid Gas Safe Registration with relevant certification recognised in the UK.
- Proven experience in plumbing, mechanical repairs, or related trades.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and carpentry techniques.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and basic maths skills for measurements and calculations.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle physically demanding tasks.
- Experience with commercial driving is desirable but not essential.
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in documentation and compliance procedures.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various environments.

Pay: £29,820.35-£53,767.42 per year
