Overview of the Role:
Horticultural Information Officer required for full-time role at RHS Wisley, to assist in managing the RHS Horticultural Database, providing accurate and timely data and information to the Horticultural Information and Advice Team, wider RHS and external stakeholders.
The Horticultural Information Officer will be proficient in tools such as Excel and Word, have excellent organisational and communication skills and have an aptitude for learning new technical and customer support skills. Knowledge of data analysis tools, good proof-reading skills and a keen interest in plants and/or botany is desirable.
The successful candidate will work as part of the Horticultural Information and Advice Team to assist with updating data, carry out quality checks on our data and seek out ways of resolving incorrect data issues found during these checks.
They will also be the first point of contact for database users, handling enquiries, resolving problems, providing basic training and logging or triaging issues as they arise.
