Duties
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as washing vegetables, peeling, and basic ingredient handling to support chefs during busy service times
- Maintain cleanliness by washing dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen utensils efficiently and thoroughly
- Ensure all kitchen areas are sanitized, organized, and free of clutter to meet health and safety standards
- Support the setup and breakdown of kitchen stations before and after service shifts
- Help with waste disposal and recycling procedures to promote an eco-friendly environment
- Restock supplies such as cleaning materials, utensils, and ingredients as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Follow health and safety protocols diligently to maintain a safe working environment for all team members
Experience
- Previous experience working in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality setting is highly desirable but not mandatory—training will be provided!
- Familiarity with basic food preparation techniques and kitchen hygiene standards is a plus
- Experience in serving or supporting culinary teams demonstrates your understanding of fast-paced food environments
