We are seeking to hire a dedicated, enthusiastic Registered Nurse to compliment our exceptional, well established and supportive team of 2 HCA's and 1 part-time Practice Nurse in our busy treatment room team in Belfast. This role focuses on high-quality patient care , with opportunities to expand your skills into chronic disease management.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
· Wound Care & Dressings: Assessing, managing, and dressing a variety of acute and chronic wounds.
· Women’s Health & Cytology: Conducting routine cervical screening (smears).
· General Treatment Room: Venepuncture, ECGs, blood pressure monitoring, and suture/clip removal.
· Immunisations: Administering adult and childhood vaccinations
Essential Criteria:
· Valid NMC Registration (RGN).
· A genuine interest in women’s health (cervical cytology) and wound management.
· Strong communication skills and the ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team.
· Note: If you are not yet qualified in cervical screening or advanced dressings, you must be fully prepared to undertake the necessary training and courses funded or supported by the practice.
Desirable Criteria:
· Previous experience in a GP surgery, primary care, or community setting.
· Recognized qualifications/diplomas in cytological sample taking and tissue viability.
