We are looking for an experienced Flooring Estimator to join our growing residential flooring business in the Addlestone area.
You will be responsible for visiting customers’ homes, accurately measuring rooms, and producing clear, professional quotations for carpet, engineered wood and LVT installations.
The ideal candidate will have solid practical knowledge of the flooring trade, including:
- Correct carpet pile direction
- Best placement of seams/joins
- Door bars, thresholds and finishing details
- Suitable underlays and fitting methods for different products
- Understanding of engineered wood and LVT installation requirements
Main responsibilities:
- Carry out site surveys and accurate measurements
- Prepare detailed quotations and material take-offs
- Advise customers on suitable products and finishes
- Work closely with our fitting teams to ensure smooth job handover
- Maintain high levels of customer service and professionalism
What we’re looking for:
- Proven experience as a flooring estimator or a background as a carpet/flooring fitter who has moved into estimating
- Strong product knowledge of residential carpet, engineered wood and LVT
- Ability to measure accurately and produce clear quotes
- Full UK driving licence and own reliable vehicle
- Good communication skills and a professional manner with customers
