Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Aluminium TIG Welder to join our specialised manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in TIG welding , with a strong focus on precision and quality. This role offers an excellent opportunity for skilled professionals to contribute to complex projects involving aluminium structures and components, utilising advanced welding techniques and fabrication skills.
You will be required to complete an aluminium welding test
Duties
- Perform TIG welding on aluminium and other metals in accordance with technical specifications and safety standards
- Ideally be able to fabricate aluminium components using various sheet metal techniques and fabrication methods
- Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to cut, shape, assemble, and finish aluminium parts
- Read technical drawings and blueprints to accurately interpret project requirements
- Conduct quality checks throughout the fabrication process to ensure precision and adherence to specifications
- Assist in the assembly of aluminium structures or products, ensuring proper fit and finish
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines whilst maintaining high standards of workmanship
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Aluminium Welder/Fabricator, with a strong portfolio of completed projects
- Extensive TIG welding expertise, particularly in aluminium applications
- Proficiency in welding techniques specific to standards and practices
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment effectively and safely
- Mechanical knowledge relevant to assembly processes and metalworking operations
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics accurately
- Basic mathematical skills for measurements and calculations during fabrication processes
- Experience working with sheet metal materials and performing precise cuts and joins
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality craftsmanship
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Pay: £20.00-£30.00 per hour
