Production Manager
Position Overview
We are seeking an exceptional Production Manager who can inspire, lead, and transform our aircraft propeller maintenance team. The ideal candidate will have first class interpersonal skills and can unite teams behind common goals while maintaining technical excellence.
Operations Management
- Lead daily team briefings with energy and purpose, connecting daily tasks to the company’s weekly On-Time, On-Budget targets.
- Oversee all aspects of aircraft propeller maintenance, repair and overhaul operations in conjunction with the experienced management team.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and certification requirements.
- Manage workshop capacity planning and resource allocation.
- Implement and maintain efficient workflow processes.
- Support and manage implementation of new capabilities and equipment
Leadership & Team Management
- Create and communicate a compelling vision that inspires team members to achieve excellence and deliver on time and on budget. .
- Foster an environment where innovation thrives and team members feel empowered to contribute ideas and make decisions.
- Challenge existing practices to bring best in class and state of the art methods to the business.

Safety & Compliance
- Ensure all maintenance activities are conducted in full compliance with UK CAA, EASA and FAA regulatory requirements, approved maintenance data and Company procedures.
- Promote a strong safety culture throughout the workshop, ensuring that human factors, reporting, risk management and regulatory compliance are embedded in day-to-day operations.
- Work closely with the Safety & Compliance team to support audits, investigations and continuous improvement, ensuring the organisation maintains the highest standards of airworthiness, quality and regulatory compliance.
Required Qualifications, Background & Experience
- Significant leadership experience within an aviation maintenance, manufacturing or other highly regulated engineering environment.
- Previous experience within an EASA/UK CAA Part-145 approved organisation is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of production planning, workload management, resource allocation and operational performance.
- Experience of driving measurable improvements in productivity, Turnaround Time (TAT), On-Time Delivery (OTD) and workshop efficiency.
- Strong commercial awareness, understanding the importance of balancing safety, quality, customer satisfaction and profitability.

Key Rewards
£58,000 - £68,000 depending on experience, plus performance bonus.
