Senior Waiter/ Waitress – Stobo Castle Health Spa
We are currently seeking a confident, professional, and experienced Senior Waiter/Waitress to join our award-winning Food and Beverage team at Stobo Castle Health Spa, a luxury family-run destination located in the beautiful Scottish Borders countryside near Peebles.
This position is based exclusively within our Dining Rooms, delivering high standards of service for breakfast, lunch, and dinner to both residential and day guests. As a Senior Waiter/Waitress, you will support the Supervisory and Management team in ensuring a smooth, efficient, and memorable dining experience. You will act as a role model to junior staff, help train and guide new team members, and ensure the highest standards are consistently achieved.
What we’re looking for:
- A passionate and guest-focused individual who takes pride in exceptional service.
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel dining room setting, ideally in a senior or supervisory capacity.
- A confident communicator with strong organisational skills and a hands-on approach.
- Someone who leads by example and supports a positive, team-oriented environment.
- Availability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, evenings, and weekends.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering a high standard of food and drink service across all mealtimes.
- Supporting and mentoring junior staff during service.
- Acting as a point of contact for guest queries and special requests.
- Liaising with the kitchen team to ensure smooth and timely service.
