Graduate Marketing Executive — AI-First
Salford · £28k · Full-time
We are a pharmacy group. We run community pharmacies, and we build software used inside pharmacies. Both need marketing, and right now neither gets enough of it.
We want a graduate who can produce. Not plan to produce — actually turn out posters, social posts, ads, emails and landing pages at a pace that would have needed a small agency five years ago. AI tools make that possible for one person. We want the person who has already worked that out.
Two audiences, one job
- Our pharmacies. Local marketing for real branches with real footfall: campaigns for services like flu jabs, travel clinics and Pharmacy First, window and in-store posters, local social, Google Business Profile, leaflets. The measure is people through the door and appointments booked.
- Our software. B2B marketing to pharmacy owners: content, email, paid search and social, landing pages, case studies. The measure is qualified leads for the sales team.
What you will do
- Produce the work. Posters, social content, short video, email campaigns, landing page copy — designed, written and shipped by you.
- Run paid campaigns end to end. Google Ads and Meta: budget, targeting, creative, and an honest read on what worked.
- Use AI properly. Not as a novelty — as your production line. Copy drafts, image generation, video editing, ad variants, turning one asset into ten.
- Own the calendar across every branch, so campaigns land on time and nothing goes out looking homemade.
- Measure everything and report it monthly: cost per lead, cost per booking, what to cut, what to double.
- Refine the strategy as you learn. We do not have a marketing playbook. You will write it.
What we are looking for
- A degree, any discipline. Marketing, design, English, business — we care about what you can produce.
- A portfolio. Anything you have actually made: a society’s social account, a side project, freelance work, a shop you helped, a page you grew. Coursework counts if it is good.
- Real fluency with AI tools. You use them daily and can explain where they are brilliant and where they produce rubbish. If your answer is “I have used ChatGPT”, this is not the role.
- Design ability. You can make something in Canva — or better — that looks professional without a designer.
- Numbers. Comfortable with GA4, ad dashboards and a spreadsheet, and you would rather be judged on results than impressions.
- Self-starting. Nobody here is going to hand you a brief every morning.
- A full UK driving licence is useful — the branches are spread out.
Nice to have
- You have run paid ads with real money behind them.
- Video editing — CapCut, Premiere, or similar.
- Basic HTML and CSS, or landing page builders.
- Email platforms such as Mailchimp or Klaviyo.
- Anything you have built and grown yourself, however small.
What you get
- A real budget and the autonomy to spend it.
- Two very different marketing problems — B2C retail and B2B software — which is rare this early in a career.
- Your work visible in actual shop windows within weeks.
- Direct founder access. No committee between you and a decision.
- A budget for tools and certifications.
