Alban Cleaning Services Ltd is looking for an experienced, hands-on cleaning operative at a private school.
This is an on-site, afternoon role, ideal for an existing cleaning operative who is used to maintaining high standards and working in structured environments such as schools or commercial sites.
Location: St Albans School (on-site)
Hours: 12.5 hours per week, term time only
Working hours: 3.30 – 6pm, Monday to Thursday. 3-5.30pm, Fridays
Pay: £12.71 per hour
Start Date: ASAP
Key responsibilities:
- Complete the cleaning of classrooms, corridors, office areas and toilets as per the agreed cleaning specification, maintaining the high standards of the company. Main duties include dusting, mopping, vacuuming, wiping down, sanitising, descaling and other relevant tasks
- Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies
- Adhere to health and safety regulations
About you:
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning
- Reliable, organised and confident communicating with staff and clients
- Experience in a school or education setting is desirable but not essential
