Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Bar/Floor Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our vibrant hospitality environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for excellent service, and a solid background in food and beverage service. This role involves supervising staff, ensuring high standards of food safety and presentation, and creating an enjoyable atmosphere for guests. Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of bar and floor staff to ensure smooth service delivery.
- Oversee food preparation, ensuring quality standards are maintained across all offerings.
- Assist with food production and kitchen operations as needed, supporting culinary teams to meet customer demands.
- Lead by example in serving guests with professionalism and hospitality, fostering a welcoming environment.
- Manage stock levels, order supplies, and ensure proper storage in compliance with food safety regulations.
- Enforce health and safety standards, including food safety protocols and cleanliness procedures.
- Handle customer queries or complaints promptly to maintain high levels of guest satisfaction.
- Conduct staff training sessions on service techniques, food safety, and operational procedures.
- Monitor staff performance, provide constructive feedback, and support team management efforts.
Experience
- Proven experience in restaurant or hospitality environments, ideally in supervisory roles such as team leader or shift supervisor.
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food safety practices.
- Experience in managing teams within busy settings like restaurants or hotels is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with serving techniques and hospitality standards to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
- Previous exposure to culinary or kitchen environments, including food production or barista experience, is advantageous.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams effectively.
