Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Carpenter and Joiner to join our dynamic construction team. Duties
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install woodwork, cabinetry, frameworks, and fixtures with precision and attention to detail
- Use hand tools such as chisels, hammers, saws, and screwdrivers to complete carpentry tasks efficiently
- Operate power tools including drills, saws, sanders, and grinders safely and effectively
- Perform welding tasks when required to join metal components securely in structural or finishing applications
- Conduct roofing repairs or installations as part of construction or renovation projects
- Assist with masonry work when necessary to support building foundations or structural elements
- Lift heavy materials safely during construction activities while adhering to safety guidelines
- Drive commercial vehicles for transporting materials or equipment between job sites when licensed and qualified
Skills
- Proficiency in carpentry techniques with a strong understanding of building codes and safety standards
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues and perform basic maintenance on tools and machinery
- Experience with welding processes such as MIG or arc welding for metal fabrication tasks
- Skilled in the use of hand tools and power tools essential for precise carpentry work
- Knowledge of roofing techniques to ensure durable and weather-resistant installations
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely during material handling and construction activities
- Valid commercial driving license (if applicable) for transporting materials or equipment between sites
- Basic masonry skills to support structural work when needed

Pay: £16.17-£26.24 per hour
