Duties
- Conduct thorough examinations of patients’ oral cavities, diagnosing dental conditions accurately.
- Develop personalised treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Perform a range of dental procedures including restorations, extractions, root canals, and cosmetic treatments.
- Utilise CAD (Computer-Aided Design) systems for designing dental restorations and prosthetics.
- Interpret medical imaging such as X-rays to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Maintain detailed and accurate patient records in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care to promote long-term oral health.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to ensure seamless patient care delivery.
- Keep abreast of the latest developments in dentistry through continuous professional development.
Qualifications
- Fully qualified Dentist registered with the General Dental Council (GDC).
- Proven experience in general dentistry, with a strong understanding of anatomy and oral structures.
- Proficiency in using CAD software for designing dental restorations.
- Knowledge of medical imaging techniques such as X-rays and their interpretation for diagnostic purposes.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex procedures clearly to patients.
- Organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
