Registered Manager – Children's Residential Home
Longridge, Preston
Competitive Salary + Performance Bonus + Equity Opportunity
Help us build something exceptional.
Are you an experienced Registered Manager who wants more than just another job?
Do you want the opportunity to shape a company from the very beginning, influence its culture, and genuinely change children's lives?
At Right Path Care, we're launching an exciting new children's residential care company in Longridge. Whilst we're a new residential provider, we're backed by many years of successful childcare experience and understand exactly what it takes to deliver outstanding care, support our teams, and achieve excellent outcomes.
We're looking for an inspirational leader who shares our vision of creating one of the UK's leading children's residential care providers.
Our Ethos
Children always come first.
Every decision we make is based around improving children's lives and creating life-changing outcomes.
We also believe that exceptional care starts with exceptional people. That's why the wellbeing, development and support of our staff sits at the heart of everything we do. We don't believe in micromanagement—we believe in empowering great people to do what they do best.
When our team thrives, our children thrive.
The Opportunity
This isn't simply a Registered Manager position.
We're looking for someone who wants to help build an organisation from the ground up.
The successful candidate will have genuine opportunities to progress into senior leadership as the company expands, with the potential to oversee multiple homes.
For the right individual, there will also be the opportunity to acquire an equity stake in the business and become part of our long-term growth journey.
If you've ever wanted to build something rather than inherit someone else's culture, this could be the opportunity you've been waiting for.
What You'll Be Doing
- Lead and manage our first children's residential home.
- Create an outstanding culture for both children and staff.
- Ensure full compliance with Ofsted regulations and Children's Homes Regulations.
- Recruit, mentor and inspire an exceptional staff team.
- Drive outstanding outcomes for children.
- Develop strong relationships with local authorities and professionals.
- Help shape the future direction and growth of Right Path Care.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- Previous experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager ready to register.
- Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations and children's residential legislation.
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (or working towards).
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Passionate about improving children's lives.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
Most importantly, we're looking for someone with ambition, integrity and a genuine desire to build something special.
A Unique Opportunity Beyond the UK
We're proud to partner with an incredible children's charity supporting vulnerable children in Malawi.
Our team members will have the opportunity to visit Malawi, work alongside the charity, experience a completely different culture, and make a lasting impact on children's lives internationally.
It's an experience that very few employers can offer and one we're incredibly proud to be involved with.
What We Offer
- Competitive salary.
- Performance-related bonus.
- Equity opportunity for the right person.
- Career progression into senior leadership.
- Extensive training and professional development.
- A supportive leadership team.
- Employee wellbeing at the heart of our culture.
- Opportunity to help shape an ambitious new organisation.
- Opportunity to work with our partner charity in Malawi.
- The chance to build a legacy, not just another career.
