Note: There will be 1 week of travel to the US for training purposes and then you will come back to London, UK to work on the project. All the expenses will be handled by the client.
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive IT Field Engineer/Moderator to join our team and drive the seamless operation of technical systems across various locations. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of computer hardware, networking equipment, and electronic devices. Your expertise will ensure that our technical infrastructure remains reliable, secure, and optimized for performance. Duties
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot computer hardware, networking equipment, and electronic systems in the field.
- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
- Interpret schematics and technical manuals to diagnose issues accurately and efficiently.
- Use hand tools and mechanical knowledge to repair or replace faulty components on-site.
- Assist with network setup, testing, and troubleshooting to resolve connectivity issues promptly.
- Document all maintenance activities, repairs, and system configurations clearly and thoroughly.
- Collaborate with team members to escalate complex problems and implement effective solutions in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- Proven experience with computer hardware repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by hands-on experience with hand tools.
- Familiarity with schematics, technical diagrams, and electronic components.
- Knowledge of computer networking principles including routers, switches, and cabling.
- Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics accurately.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail in equipment repair.
- Prior experience working in field service or technical support roles is preferred.

Pay: Up to £14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
