Class 2 Dustcart Driver
We are currently recruiting for experienced Class 2 Dustcart Drivers to join a busy waste and recycling operation.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 4:30am – 1:00pm
This is a hands-on Driver/Loader role, so you will be required to assist with loading duties as well as driving the refuse collection vehicle.
Duties include:
- Driving a Class 2 refuse/dustcart vehicle
- Completing scheduled refuse and recycling collections
- Assisting loaders with manual collection duties
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks
- Reporting any defects or safety concerns
- Ensuring collections are completed safely and efficiently
- Following all site and road safety procedures
- Working outdoors in all weather conditions
Requirements:
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous Class 2 driving experience
- Refuse or waste industry experience is desirable
- Comfortable carrying out manual loading duties
- Reliable with a good attitude towards health and safety
Full-time, Monday to Friday work with consistent early shifts and ongoing opportunities.
