Pay Rate: Up to £26.50 per hour (Umbrella)
Hours: Full-Time, Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm

Sanctuary Personnel is seeking an experienced Band 6 Community Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to join a dedicated Adult Mental Health Team in Witney. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled mental health professional to deliver high-quality, recovery-focused care within a supportive community setting.
Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will manage a caseload of adults with a range of complex mental health needs, coordinate care, and provide timely interventions to support individuals in maintaining their independence and wellbeing within the community.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of adults with complex mental health needs, providing ongoing assessment, treatment and care planning.
- Deliver person-centred, recovery-focused interventions that promote independence and positive mental health outcomes.
- Act as a Care Programme Approach (CPA) Care Coordinator, ensuring care plans are regularly reviewed and updated.
- Undertake comprehensive mental health and risk assessments, implementing appropriate interventions where required.
- Provide home treatment and crisis interventions for individuals experiencing acute episodes of mental ill health.
- Work collaboratively with psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, occupational therapists and other healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated care.
- Develop strong working relationships with service users, carers and partner agencies to ensure holistic support.
- Maintain accurate, timely and comprehensive clinical documentation in accordance with professional standards.
- Participate in safeguarding procedures and contribute to effective risk management plans.
- Support service users in achieving their recovery goals while promoting choice, dignity and independence.
Applicant Requirements
- Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
- Previous experience working within an Adult Community Mental Health Team or similar community mental health setting.
- Experience managing complex mental health caseloads and coordinating care under the Care Programme Approach (CPA).
- Strong assessment, risk management and clinical decision-making skills.
- Experience providing crisis intervention and community-based mental health treatment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
