Immediate start required for a proactive experienced Sales Administrator to join our office team.
Main Objectives:
- Provide high level sales administration support to the Company Directors and General Manager.
Activities:
Act as a point of contact on site for all customers and suppliers
Taking and processing customer orders
Processing of purchase orders
Execute day-to-day tasks for purchase and sales day books
Arrange transport for sales and purchase orders
Resolving customer and transport queries
Provide sales “follow-up” in collaboration with Sales Team
Assist with all customer communications, including sales pricing, promotions, delivery lead times
Updating of SAGE customer price lists
Provide up to date sales statistics to Company Directors and General Manager
Organise and control customer samples, including associated tasks such as updating SAGE stock levels, labelling, transport.
Maintaining product and ancillary stock levels
Assist in stock transfers to and from off site storage facilities
Ensure compliance with all internal control systems.
Provide site administrator duties during periods of holidays, sickness and as required.
Answer phone, take orders, handle complaints politely, take notes, and communicate with directors, site management and production/warehouse supervision/staff.
Observe all company health and safety rules.
Safe guard company assets.
Where appropriate conduct any reasonable task as instructed by a company director.
Qualifications and personal Qualities required
- Previous experience with SAGE preferred
- Strong communication skills.
- Good interpersonal skills (must be polite, and friendly with all customers’ management and staff. Unjustifiable insensitive disruptive behaviour will not be tolerated)
- Microsoft and email skills essential.
- Good organizational and time management skills and ability to work on own initiative essential
- Proactive and systematic approach to problem solving.
- Enthusiastic, self-motivating, can-do attitude with desire to improve and develop in the job.
Hours of work as follows:
Standard 37.5 hrs per week
Mon - Fri 09.00 - 17.00hrs ( unpaid 30 minute lunch break)
Salary - negotiable based on age and experience
