Help deliver outstanding care, with real expertise behind you.
A lot of Field Care Supervisor roles focus on audits, spot checks and paperwork. Those things matter, but the best supervisors know the role is really about people. Supporting carers, building trust with clients, and making sure every person receives the kind of care you'd want for your own family.
At Visiting Angels Cheshire East, you'll do that with the backing of two doctors who have already built a successful, well-established Visiting Angels service across Kirklees and Calderdale and are now bringing that same model to Cheshire East.
You'll have the flexibility of a part-time role while still playing a central role in maintaining quality, supporting carers and helping clients receive exceptional care.
What you'll get
- A salary of £28,000 to £32,000 FTE (£14,000 to £16,000 pro rata), depending on your experience.
- Part-time hours with real responsibility. A genuinely influential role that offers flexibility without sacrificing professional challenge or career development.
- Ongoing training and development, with support to continue growing your career in care.
- Free, award-winning wellbeing support through our AngelCare app, including counselling, talking therapy, meditation, and even personal trainer and nutritionist services, there whenever you need them.
- Your birthday off, on us, without touching your holiday allowance.
- Paid mileage for travel across the Cheshire East area.
- A carers-first culture that actually works. Staff turnover here sits at around 9%, against a sector average of roughly 29%, because people feel genuinely looked after and they stay. It's also won a Best Employee Benefits Package award.
What you'll do
- Carry out client assessments, reviews and care plan updates to ensure care remains safe, effective and person-centred.
- Conduct spot checks, competency assessments and quality monitoring visits.
- Support, mentor and develop caregivers in the field, helping them deliver outstanding care with confidence.
- Support clients and their families through regular reviews, quality visits and ongoing communication.
- Escalate and support the management of concerns, incidents and changes in client needs, working closely with the wider office team.
- Work closely with the Care Coordinator and Registered Manager to maintain compliance and high standards across the service.
- Help ensure the service remains fully compliant with CQC requirements and Visiting Angels' quality standards.

- Experience in domiciliary care, ideally with some supervisory, senior carer or field-based responsibility.
- A good understanding of person-centred care and safeguarding.
- Working knowledge of CQC standards and best practice in adult social care.
- Strong communication skills and the confidence to support, coach and guide others.
