Dog Walker/Sitter – Cover & Potential Ongoing Work
Five Senses Dog Training is looking for a reliable, compassionate dog walker to join the team on a subcontractor basis.
This role will primarily involve covering holidays, sickness, and ad-hoc availability, with the potential for more regular work over time.
About the role:
- Solo dog walking (1–2–1 and small groups)
- Dog sitting in the clients home
- Covering pre-existing clients
- Maintaining high standards of care and professionalism
- Representing a force-free, ethical training business
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has experience working with dogs (walking, training, or similar)
- Has a good understanding of canine body language
- Uses or is willing to use force-free, positive reinforcement methods
- Is calm, reliable, and observant
- Is confident working independently
Bonus (but not essential):
- Relevant qualifications (IMDT, ABTC, etc.)
Location: Knutsford
Work type:
- Flexible / ad-hoc initially
