Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Commercial Kitchen Extraction & Ductwork Installer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing ventilation systems, ductwork, and extraction units in commercial kitchens. Your expertise will ensure optimal airflow, safety, and compliance with industry standards. Duties
- Install, assemble, and secure ductwork and extraction systems according to schematics and technical specifications
- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on kitchen ventilation equipment to ensure efficient operation
- Read and interpret detailed schematics and technical drawings to guide installation processes
- Lead installation teams or coordinate with subcontractors to ensure project timelines are met
- Troubleshoot issues with existing systems, performing equipment repairs as needed to restore functionality
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations, building codes, and industry standards
- Collaborate with project managers and clients to plan installation schedules and address technical requirements
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge of ventilation systems, ductwork, and extraction units
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, technical drawings, and installation instructions
- Proven leadership skills to guide team members during installation projects
- Experience with equipment repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting of HVAC or air conditioning systems
- Construction experience related to commercial kitchen installations or similar environments
- Knowledge of safety protocols and building regulations applicable to ventilation system installation
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to maintenance issues
