FIRE ROOM is looking for a friendly, hardworking and reliable Cooking Assistant to join our team in Llantrisant.
We are a busy takeaway serving pizzas, kebabs, burgers, wraps and more. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with food and wants to be part of a friendly and hardworking team.
About the role
Your duties will include:
- Helping prepare and cook food
- Preparing ingredients and assisting with food preparation
- Helping with pizzas, kebabs, burgers, wraps and other menu items
- Making sure orders are prepared correctly and efficiently
- Keeping the kitchen clean, tidy and organised
- Following food hygiene and safety standards
- Supporting the rest of the kitchen team during busy periods
- Helping with general kitchen duties when required
What we are looking for
- Previous kitchen or takeaway experience is preferred
- Hardworking and reliable
- Punctual and responsible
- Able to work in a busy environment
- Friendly and respectful
- Able to work well as part of a team
- Willing to learn and help wherever needed
Experience with pizza, kebabs or takeaway food would be an advantage, but the right attitude and willingness to work are just as important.

Wages depend on experience
Minimum 6 days per week
Regular work available
The exact hours and rate of pay will be discussed during the interview, depending on experience.
