ABC Day Nursery, Pre-school is a beautiful home from home setting providing excellent quality care and teaching to children aged from 3 months to 5 years of age. We have recently extended our baby room, where we require a qualified practitioner.
This position will be working with children of all ages across the setting, but primarily in our baby room.
The successful candidate, will be kind, caring and approachable. They will enjoy caring for children's needs and supporting their learning, in a happy and exciting environment. In addition you will be responsible for observing children at play and identifying their individual learning requirements.
ABC is committed to ongoing training of our staff, we therefore offer First Aid, safeguarding, food hygiene and other CPD courses. We support staff health and well being.
We support staff ongoing qualifications and training.
An opportunity has arisen at ABC to join our brilliant team, as a qualified level 2 or 3, part-time 20 hours or full time hours: 39 hrs per week, over 2 or 4 days. This position can be covered by one person or we can split into 2 days per person. This is an all year time position. 7.30am-6.00pm.
To be considered for the position you must:
Hold a relevant DFE approved early years level 2 or 3 in early years.
Be friendly, enthusiastic and have the ability to work as part of a team with a positive approach.
Be hardworking, passionate about your role and providing high standards of care for children and be willing to learn.
ABC Day Nursery is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people therefore a safeguarding qualification is required (this can be provided by ABC).
This role will require a DBS disclosure and suitable references, with a 3 month probationary period, upon successful application.
Job Types: Full time, part time job share considered.
Pay: £13.00-£13.15 per hour
