About the Role
JAM CARE is looking for compassionate, reliable, and dedicated Complex Care Assistants to join our growing team, providing high-quality, person-centred care to clients in their own homes across the Telford area, including Wellington & Newport.
JAM CARE is not a domiciliary care company. You will support one client for the entire duration of your shift, giving you the opportunity to build a trusting relationship while delivering consistent, personalised care tailored to their individual needs.
This is a permanent employed position with guaranteed contracted hours. Current Vacancies
Newport
- £15.50 per hour
- 12-hour day or night shifts (8am-8pm / 8pm-8am)
- Permanent 24 or 36-hour contracts
- Supporting a female client living with fibromyalgia. Previous seizure experience is desirable but full training is provided.
Wellington
- £13.00 per hour
- Day shifts (10am-7pm & 2:30pm-10pm)
- Permanent 27.5-hour contract
- Supporting a client with Down syndrome who enjoys theme parks, concerts, and community activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing all aspects of personal care and daily living support
- Supporting the client with community access and social activities
- Accompanying the client to theme parks, concerts, and other leisure activities
- Promoting independence, choice, and dignity at all times
- Building a positive and trusting relationship with the client
All applicants must have a minimum of 6 months’ UK care experience.

Requirements
- Minimum of 6 months’ UK care experience
- Valid right to work in the UK
- Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
- Excellent communication skills
- A caring, patient, and reliable approach
