Production Team Leader – Sandwich & Deli Production
£14.50 per hour | Minimum 30 hours per week | 3–4 shifts per week
We're looking for a motivated and reliable Production Team Leader to join our busy sandwich and deli production team.
We produce a wide range of fresh grab-and-go products, including sandwiches, wraps, bagels, salad boxes and more. This is a hands-on role where you'll work alongside the team while taking responsibility for the smooth running of the shift.
As Production Team Leader, you'll lead by example, maintain high production standards, keep the team motivated, and deal with any day-to-day issues to ensure every order is completed accurately, efficiently and on time.
What You'll Be Doing
- Leading the production team throughout your shift.
- Working hands-on preparing sandwiches, wraps, bagels, salads and other fresh products.
- Maintaining high standards of food hygiene, quality and presentation.
- Keeping production running efficiently and on schedule.
- Supporting, motivating and developing the team.
- Identifying and resolving issues quickly and effectively.
- Helping create a positive, productive working environment.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience working in a professional food production, catering or hospitality environment (home cooking experience alone is not suitable).
- Experience supervising or leading a team is preferred but not essential for the right person.
- Strong work ethic with the ability to lead from the front.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Great attention to detail.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable, dependable and a positive team player.
- Must be available to work Sundays.
- Must have reliable transport and not be dependent on public transport, as shift finish times may not always align with public transport services.
Hours & Pay
- £14.50 per hour
- Minimum 30 hours per week
- 3–4 shifts per week
- Typical shift: 12:00pm – approximately 9:00pm
- Guaranteed Saturdays off
