Class 1 Night Trunk Driver – Eastleigh to Swadlincote£45,000+ per year | Monday–Friday | 18:00 start | Regular trunk route
Riva South Ltd is looking for an experienced Class 1 (C+E) Driver to join our pallet network operation on a permanent night trunking position.
This is a regular Eastleigh to Swadlincote trunk route, ideal for a driver who prefers predictable night work rather than multi-drop deliveries.

The job
You'll be responsible for completing the regular trunk between our Eastleigh depot and Swadlincote network hub.
The night consists of:
- Start at our Eastleigh depot at approximately 18:00
- Collect and operate a double-deck trailer
- Complete the trunk to Swadlincote
- Tip and reload at the network hub
- Return to Eastleigh
- Complete the required vehicle and trailer checks
This is a straightforward, regular trunking operation, with no requirement to complete multi-drop deliveries.
What we're looking for
- Full UK C+E Class 1 licence
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card
- Valid Driver CPC
- Previous Class 1 experience preferred
- Good driving record — ideally zero points, although up to 6 points may be considered
- Reliable and professional approach
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently during night operations
