Pay: £12.71 - £14.42 per hour (depending on experience)

Summary
This is a workshop-based role focused on preparing laptops and PC's for customer deployment. You’ll play a key part in ensuring devices are securely wiped, accurately configured, and professionally prepared to a high standard before they leave our facility.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys practical, process-driven technical work and takes pride in getting things right first time.
You'll be joining a team where everyone is multi-skilled, able to pick and process orders, configure devices all the way to packing for dispatch.
Responsibilities
- Imaging and software deployment
- Device labelling, asset tagging and documentation
- Securely wiping laptops and IT equipment in line with company and customer standards
- Test and Refurbishment of returned hardware for reuse.
- Quality checking completed builds
- Preparing equipment for dispatch, ranging from Laptops/PC's, routers, Access points, switches and phones.
- Supporting stock control and inventory processes. Allocating stock to projects, picking stock for orders and packing completed goods.
- Following documented technical procedures
What We’re Looking For
- Basic understanding of IT & networking hardware (laptops, desktops, routers)
- Previous experience in IT repair, refurbishing, deployment, or workshop-based roles would be advantageous.
- Experience installing Windows and configuring devices (desirable but not essential)
- Good work ethic and attention to detail
- Ability to follow technical processes and checklists
- Organised, reliable and able to multitask
- Ability to work individually and as a team
- Positive, team-focused attitude
- Comfortable working in a workshop environment
