Bank Complex Care Healthcare Assistant
Location: Worthing, West Sussex
Pay: £14.00 – £22.00 per hour
Hours: 12+ hours per week, offered on an ad-hoc basis
Contract: Bank - Zero Hours Contract

We are seeking experienced and compassionate Healthcare Assistants to join our bank team supporting children and young adults with complex healthcare needs within their homes.
This role is ideal for individuals looking for additional work alongside existing commitments.
Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, effective and person-centred care.
- Support children and young adults to participate in activities and routines.
- Assist with personal care as required.
- Follow individual care plans and clinical protocols.
- Communicate effectively with families and professionals.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation.
Essential Requirements
- Minimum 12 months' care experience.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Flexibility to accept shifts as required.
- Positive and professional attitude.
- Driver with access to a vehicle, or ability to travel reliably using public transport.
Desirable Experience
- Complex care.
- Medication administration.
- Basic Life Support.
- Epilepsy awareness.
- Moving and Handling.
- Gastrostomy care.
Training and clinical competency assessments will be provided.
