The Best Connection Mansfield are currently seeking a Deputy Line Leader for our client based in Kirkby-in-Ashfield.
This is a great opportunity to join a fast-paced manufacturing environment with a pay rate of £15.00 per hour, plus overtime available.
Primary Responsibilities

Lead, motivate, and supervise a team of up to 30 production operatives to ensure productivity and quality targets are met

Ensure production activities are carried out in line with the production plan, procedures, and standards

Promote and maintain a safe working environment, ensuring all health and safety and housekeeping standards are upheld

Ensure compliance with HSE policies, internal procedures, and work instructions
Minimum Requirements

Ability to instruct, support, and guide team members across all operational responsibilities

Strong leadership and conflict resolution skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Competent in Microsoft Office and general computer applications
Preferred Requirements
-
Experience using SAP or similar production systems
-
Exposure to continuous improvement or lean manufacturing environments
-
Previous supervisory experience within chemical, adhesives, or similar manufacturing industries
Please note: this is a cover position, so you will primarily be working on the production line, with responsibilities adjusted based on line leading experience.

Monday to Friday
Rotating shifts:

6:00am - 2:00pm

2:00pm - 10:00pm
