BFC is seeking a confident and experienced Interim Rehab Manager to provide strong, visible leadership across our therapeutic service supporting people with substance misuse difficulties.
Working as part of the Senior Leadership Team, you will provide hands-on day-to-day management, bringing stability, clear direction and accountability to our Key Workers and wider team.
We need a leader who is comfortable stepping into challenging situations, making decisions and addressing issues promptly, while creating a supportive, professional and psychologically safe team culture.
Key responsibilities
Provide visible, consistent and confident leadership across the service.
Stabilise and strengthen the team, establishing clear expectations and accountability.
Line manage, supervise and develop Key Workers.
Confidently manage challenging situations, performance concerns and difficult conversations.
Lead team meetings, case discussions and reflective practice.
Maintain oversight of complex cases, safeguarding, risk and care planning.
Ensure practice is trauma-informed, person-centred and recovery-focused.
Maintain high standards of governance, quality and CQC compliance.
Oversee effective day-to-day service delivery, staffing and resources.
Work with the Senior Leadership Team to identify and address risks, performance issues and service improvements.
About you
You will be an experienced and credible manager who can quickly build trust, provide stability and lead from the front.
You will have:
Strong experience leading and managing teams in substance misuse, therapeutic, health or social care services. Residential experience is crucial for this role
Confidence in managing complex and challenging situations.
Experience of supervision, performance management and developing staff.
Strong safeguarding, risk management and decision-making skills.
A calm, resilient and solutions-focused leadership style.
Knowledge of trauma-informed and person-centred practice.
An appropriate professional qualification and registration where applicable.
