The successful Senior Private Client Solicitor in Northwich will manage a varied caseload of private client matters whilst contributing to the continued success of the department. The day-to-day duties within this Senior Private Client Solicitor job include:
- Managing a caseload of Wills, Probate and Estate Administration matters.
- Advising clients on Lasting Powers of Attorney.
- Handling Court of Protection and Deputyship matters where appropriate.
- Advising clients on a range of services for the elderly.
- Maintaining efficient file management in accordance with firm procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Achieving agreed fee earning and time recording targets.
- Participating in business development and marketing activities.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Supervising and mentoring junior members of the Private Client team.
- Assisting with maintaining the firm's Wills and Inheritance Quality Scheme accreditation.
The successful Senior Private Client Solicitor will ideally have around 10 years' PQE, although applications are welcomed from candidates with differing levels of experience who can demonstrate the right skills and experience.
In addition, the successful Private Client Solicitor will possess the following experience, skills and attributes:
- Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive.
- Experience handling Wills, Probate and Powers of Attorney matters.
- Experience of Court of Protection and Deputyship matters would be advantageous.
- STEP qualification would be beneficial but is not essential.
- Ability to manage a caseload independently.
