The Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker to deliver high-quality social care services to children, young people, adults, and families.
In this role, you will manage a varied caseload, complete comprehensive assessments, and play a vital role in safeguarding and improving outcomes for individuals with complex needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a diverse caseload in line with service standards and deadlines
- Safeguard children, young people, and vulnerable adults
- Conduct in-depth assessments focusing on risk, need, and capacity for change
- Deliver tailored, evidence-based interventions
- Produce clear, high-quality reports, including court reports
- Work collaboratively with multi-agency partners
- Contribute to service development and best practice initiatives
This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real impact across a range of services in the Midlands, primarily supporting individuals and families in Walsall and Derby.
About You
You will be a qualified and registered Social Worker with a strong understanding of safeguarding and statutory frameworks.
You will also have:
- Experience managing a caseload and meeting deadlines
- Strong assessment and analytical skills
- Confidence in producing clear, evidence-based reports
- Excellent relationship-building skills with families and professionals
- A proactive, flexible approach to work
- Commitment to ongoing professional development
