The Role
We're looking for a friendly, reliable Sales Assistant to join our team at our Marlow store on a part-time basis, working weekends. This is a hands-on, people-first role at the heart of what we do - helping customers find pieces they'll love for years to come.
What You'll Be Doing
- Delivering genuinely great customer service - from a warm welcome to in-depth conversations about larger, longer-term investment pieces like furniture and dining tables
- Building real relationships with customers, taking time to understand what they're looking for and matching them with the right pieces
- Keeping the sales floor beautifully presented at all times - restocking, reordering and refreshing displays so the store always looks its best
- Supporting the team with visual merchandising, making sure every corner of the store reflects the Home Barn brand
- Updating pricing accurately and promptly as stock changes
- Being a knowledgeable, enthusiastic ambassador for the brand and the collection
About You
- A natural people person with excellent communication skills
- Someone who takes genuine pride in their surroundings and has a good eye for detail
- An interest in interiors, antiques or homeware would be helpful but not essential
- A positive, can-do attitude and a willingness to work as part of a small, close-knit team
- Previous retail or customer-facing experience is welcome
- Availability to work weekends is essential for this role

Pay: £13.00-£14.00 per hour
