We are looking for a compassionate, experienced, and motivated Team Leader to join our friendly team at our residential care home, providing high-quality care and support for people living with dementia.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support the care team during day shifts to ensure the highest standards of care.
- Deliver compassionate, person-centred care that promotes dignity, independence, and wellbeing.
- Administer medication safely in line with policies and procedures (where qualified).
- Support residents with their daily living needs while encouraging choice and independence.
- Supervise, mentor, and motivate care staff, ensuring excellent teamwork and communication.
- Maintain accurate care records and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Liaise effectively with families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies.
- Respond appropriately to emergencies and ensure a safe, welcoming environment for residents.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Has previous experience working in a residential care setting, ideally supporting people living with dementia.
- Has experience leading or supervising a care team.
- Holds a Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care.
- Has excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Is caring, reliable, compassionate, and committed to delivering outstanding care.
- Is confident making decisions and supporting colleagues throughout the shift.
- Is flexible to work alternate weekends and participate in the shift rota.
