THE ROLE
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our friendly team and help manage the smooth day-to-day running of the restaurant.
We offer an attractive salary package based on the successful candidate’s skills and experience.
Responsibilities include:
- Supporting the daily management of the restaurant
- Supervising and motivating front-of-house staff
- Delivering excellent customer service
- Welcoming guests and managing customer enquiries
- Explaining dishes and recommending suitable options
- Maintaining high standards of service, cleanliness and presentation
- Supporting bookings, table management and shift organisation
- Handling customer concerns professionally
Essential requirements:
- At least one year of experience working in an Indian or Nepalese restaurant, or extensive knowledge of Indian and Nepalese food
- Previous restaurant management or supervisory experience
- Good knowledge of dishes, ingredients, flavours, spice levels and allergens
- Excellent customer-service and communication skills
- Strong leadership and team-management abilities
- A professional, reliable and positive attitude
- Ability to remain calm and organised in a busy restaurant
- Availability to work evenings, weekends and bank holidays when required

Pay: £25,420.00-£40,010.02 per year
